Expansion of the FL55SS fluorite refractor to a high-performance astrograph
The kit consists of the high-performance reducer, the flutter for flattening the image field and the extension tube "EX TUBE 66", which was specially developed for the FL55SS Fluorite Apo refractor. This way you get a sharp image right up to the edge of the fully pre-mat sensor of your DSKR camera.
Ultra-sharp image across the entire field of view of the DSLR full-frame sensor
The Flattener HD for FL55SS levels the entire field of view of the full-frame DSLR camera in primary photography. The 44mm image circle covers the entire field of view of the full-frame DSLR camera. In combination with the Reducer HD5.5, the focal length is reduced by 0.79 times (from F5.5 to F4.3), while the illumination of 44 mm is retained, which ensures sharpness over the entire image field of the DSLR camera guaranteed.
96% illumination up to the edge of the field of view
The Flattener HD was specially developed for the FL55SS refractor in order to reduce the loss of light to a minimum. The image field is fully illuminated right up to the edge.
Exceptionally high contrast
The same anti-reflective AS coatings that are used for our high-end astrograph VSD100F3.8 are also used here to achieve 99.9% light transmission per lens surface. Due to the perfect matt black surface of the Reducer HD Kit, light losses, ghosting and scattered images are completely avoided.
