I live near Houston. I set the location and date/time for the mount. I then center 2 bright stars in the eyepiece to setup the goto features and the telescope repeatedly 'fails' the location/triangulation for the goto meaning, it can't/won't goto anything. The view through the 6' telescope is very nice and clear.

Fantastic telescope! Easy to use and well built. Huge upgrade from my 4 inch reflector. The built in WiFi and SkyPortal app make it super easy to navigate the night sky.
