The roof prism layout makes for a slender design that is easy to manipulate for proper eye distance. The central focusing wheel rotates smoothly and is textured to facilitate subtle adjustments. Twist-up eyecups guard against stray light and are especially useful for those who wear glasses. Beyond the eyecups, the barrels of all Everest binoculars are filled with nitrogen to protect against water and dew damage, to prevent fogging and to keep dirt from entering the binoculars.
