I bought this Microscope for my 8 year old grandson to introduce the world of science and exploring insects. The microscope was ideal for this and worked perfectly.

I really liked its design, although it is a little uncalibrated so that it cannot be focused clearly. For a child who is beginning to discover nature, it is fine.

good to have around the house, especially a kid's bookshelf. View everything in 3D. You see amazing detail - spiders, rocks, circuit boards, flowers...Unlike a full 400x magnification biological microscope, which takes a lot of setup and sample prep work, you just put the object on the plate. Also very easy to focus.

My kid loves it
